GGSS-Crossword Promotion:
CrossWord bookstores in association with Cartoon Network organized
a special event for children to promote the popular TV series Galli
Galli Sim Sim.
Several children participated in the fun-filled event held at different
Crossword stores in the month of October. A story reading session
had the children giving complete attention to the interesting Galli
Galli Sim Sim story. The story was one among eight story book titles
launched recently by EuroBooks.
In addition to this, the colouring session brought out the artist
in the young ones. EuroBooks provided colouring sheets depicting endearing
Galli Galli Sim Sim characters to the children. After the children
had finished colouring them in, prizes were given away to the best
of the lot.
November 2006
Children's Day Celebration: Organized a 2-day event program at Depot,
the book store of Pantaloons at Orchid City Centre, Mumbai Central.
Events like Story Telling & Treasure Hunt were a huge success.
September 2006 - We launched Rasha titles with great fanfare
at Granth Bookstore, Juhu. The book was launched by Bollywood Star
Vivek Oberoi, after which he along with Rasha, narrated the story
to all the children present at the launch. Before that, Mr. Uday Mathur
gave the inaugural speech.
August 2006 - Tie up between EuroBooks
& Sesame Workshop of USA.
Sesame Workshop, an organisation which is one of the biggest brands
in kids’ space in the USA, is now entering into India, by launching
their animation programming through Cartoon Network India from 15th
August 2006.The Indian version is being branded as “Gali Gali
Sim Sim” which is going to be aired on prime time (for kids)
both on Cartoon Network & POGO.
As part of their licensing program, Sesame has selected EuroBooks
as Publishing Licensee for Indian subcontinent for their entire range
of publishing products. This is one more feather in the cap for all
of us at EuroKids International and we are looking forward to exciting
times ahead with the brand Sesame.
August 2006 – Another publishing
licensee tie up with Kim Possible, a Disney Channel original Emmy-winning
animated series about a teenage special agent named Kim.
June 2006 - Participated in the DNA’s
Ya ! station’s event – a day out for the family, partnered
by Disney.
